Shining Stars Programs

Give your child a positive introduction to the water through our fun and

engaging parent and tot program! 

This program focuses on the gentle approach to water safety, where your Tot will become comfortable in the water and work on their safety skills through our Magical Sensory Discovery Aqua Sensory Baby Program.

In this program, we also give parents a basic knowledge of water safety and first aid skills.

The perfect combination of safety and fun for your little ones. 

In these 4 levels we will teach your 2 - 5 year olds water safety and survival skills such as floating and rollovers, all the way to beginner kicking skills. 

We ensure all of our swimmers become comfortable and happy in the water with our progress driven approach.

Through our fun and engaging program, Shining Stars offers programs for every skill level and ability. 

We have 7 levels in our Shining Stars Program.

Our skills range from teaching your first time swimmer the skills be safe in and around the water, and lead through to becoming an advanced swimmer mastering swim strokes and building endurance.

In our Special Ability Program we provide children who have developmental disabilities a private class with a specialized SWIM WHISPERER Instructor, certified through Swim Angelfish's methodology. 

In these classes, we look at the underlying roadblocks the child is facing in the water, and work with them to overcome these obstacles and make progress in a comfortable and fun way!

We offer the Lifesaving Society's Lifesaving Programs. 

The Swim Patrol courses will give your child an introduction to some basic first aid practices, and aquatic rescues. 

The Bronze courses dive into rescuing a weak, tired, drowning, or injured swimmer   in the safest and most efficient way possible. 

National Lifeguard courses will certify the participant to be a Lifeguard in Canada, which requires endurance, strength, skill and knowledge.

First aid and water safety go hand in hand! 

We believe that it is essential for everyone to have their first aid certification. 

We want to give you the tools to save a life in the case of an emergency or life-threatening situation.

We offer the following 

First Aid Certifications:

Emergency First Aid (EFA)

Standard First Aid (SFA)

Health Care Provider (HCP )

Whether you are a teen or adult who:

• Is a beginner and wants to learn how to swim and be safe around the water

• Wants to perfect your swim strokes

• Are training for a triathlon

We have a program for you! 

Our small class sizes and trained instructors will help you to accomplish your goals!

If you want your child to stay fit and prepare to be part of a competitive swim team, this program is for you! 

In our Pre - Competitive program, swimmers will master their swim strokes, learn flip turns and other competitive strokes, as well as increase their endurance and stamina! 

Pre Requisite: Completed Shining Stars' Gold Stars Level or Equivalent.
